q989 · About Us
q989 was built with one clear idea in mind: Pakistani players deserve a gaming and sports betting platform that actually works the way they live — on mobile, in PKR, with payment methods they already use every day. That is what we set out to create, and it shapes every decision we make.
Our Story
If you have ever tried using a generic international betting or casino platform from Pakistan, you probably ran into the same problems: payment methods that do not support PKR, deposit flows built around foreign bank cards, odds for sports that nobody here follows closely, and a mobile interface that was clearly designed for desktop first and shrunk down as an afterthought.
q989 exists because those frustrations were real and nobody was solving them properly. The platform was built from the ground up with Pakistani users as the primary audience — not as an international platform retrofitted for the local market, but as something that started with questions like: what payment apps do people in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad actually use? What sports do they follow and want to bet on? What kind of mobile experience do they need when their connection drops between 3G and 4G five times during a PSL match?
The answers shaped everything. JazzCash and Easypaisa are the primary payment methods because that is how most Pakistani players already manage money on their phones. Cricket is the main sports betting focus because that is the sport people here care most about — particularly Pakistan internationals, the Pakistan Super League and T20 tournaments. The entire platform runs in a browser without any download required because storage space is precious and not everyone has a 128GB phone sitting around.
The q989 platform brings four main product areas together under one account and one PKR wallet: sports betting, online slots, live casino and a VIP programme that rewards consistent players. You do not need separate logins or separate balances for each section — everything shares the same wallet, which makes managing your budget significantly simpler than platforms where different games require different top-ups.
Sports betting on q989 covers cricket most deeply, with full pre-match and live in-play markets for Pakistan international fixtures, PSL, T20 World Cup, Asia Cup and major bilateral series. The live betting section during PSL matches in particular gets the most attention from the team — the breadth of markets available during a live PSL game, from over-by-over runs to individual player milestones, reflects how seriously we take cricket betting coverage. Football, esports and other international sports are also well covered for players with broader interests.
The slots library on q989 runs to well over 500 titles covering every major format — classic 3-reel games, 5-reel video slots, Megaways titles with up to 117,649 ways to win, progressive jackpot games and bonus-buy options for experienced players. Games are supplied by established providers whose RNG systems are independently certified. All stakes are in PKR and payouts land directly in your q989 wallet.
Live casino adds a real-time streaming element — actual dealers running roulette, baccarat, blackjack and game show formats in real time. The streams use adaptive bitrate technology so they stay watchable even when your mobile connection is not at full strength, which matters practically for users in areas with mixed coverage.
This is a part of what we do that we take seriously rather than just paying lip service to. Online gaming and sports betting should add enjoyment to how you follow sport and entertainment — not create financial pressure or anxiety. The platform includes account tools for setting deposit limits and session reminders, and we encourage every player to use them as part of managing their experience intentionally rather than reactively.
q989 is a platform for adults aged 18 and above. We do not manufacture urgency, we do not pretend that betting is a reliable income stream, and we do not suggest that any game outcome is predictable. Every spin outcome is determined by a certified RNG, every sports market reflects probability estimates rather than certainty. Being honest about that is part of how we think the relationship between a platform and its players should work.
If at any point you feel that gaming is taking more of your budget or time than you intended, the responsible gaming section at q989 covers practical tools and self-management approaches. Setting a weekly deposit limit before you start a week of play is a habit we actively recommend — it puts a structural boundary in place without relying entirely on willpower in the moment.
Every product decision at q989 starts with Pakistani users. Payment infrastructure, sports coverage, mobile performance and language all reflect how people actually live and game here.
The q989 platform loads and plays well on Android and iPhone browsers without any app download. The interface was designed for smaller screens from day one, not adapted from a desktop layout after the fact.
Sports betting, slots, live casino and VIP rewards all share a single PKR balance. No separate top-ups, no currency conversion, no multiple wallets to track.
All deposits and withdrawals in PKR — no currency conversion applied.
What Sets Us Apart
These are the specific decisions we made in building q989 that we think make a genuine difference for Pakistani players day to day.
Full coverage of Pakistan internationals, PSL, T20 World Cup and bilateral series. Live in-play markets update ball by ball during matches. This is not cricket as an afterthought — it is the core of the q989 sports section.
Fund your q989 account from your JazzCash or Easypaisa balance and the amount reflects in your wallet immediately — no pending period, no waiting for a match you want to bet on to start. Withdrawals to mobile wallets process quickly for verified accounts.
Classic reels, Megaways titles, jackpot games and bonus-buy options all available from leading providers. Every game uses a certified random number generator — outcomes are genuinely random and cannot be influenced. All stakes and payouts in PKR.
Real dealer tables streamed in real time — roulette, baccarat, blackjack and game shows. Adaptive bitrate streaming adjusts video quality automatically based on your connection speed, keeping the stream consistent even on variable mobile networks.
Activity across sports betting, slots and live casino all contributes to your VIP tier. Higher tiers unlock withdrawal priority, higher limits, dedicated support and platform-specific bonuses. The VIP programme is designed to reward players who use the platform consistently across its full range.
Two-factor authentication, session management, remote logout and identity-matched withdrawals. Your security settings are accessible directly from your account dashboard. Unusual login attempts trigger additional verification before access is granted.
Our Journey
q989 has grown through a focused process of building, listening to users and improving. Each stage added something the previous one was missing.
q989 launched with its core sports betting section, JazzCash and Easypaisa integration, and a browser-based interface designed specifically for Pakistani mobile users. Cricket coverage was the starting priority.
The game lobby was expanded with 500+ certified slot titles from established international providers. Megaways titles, jackpot slots and bonus-buy games were added to cover the full spectrum of player preferences.
Live dealer games were added with adaptive bitrate streaming to handle variable Pakistani mobile connections. Roulette, baccarat, blackjack and game show formats cover the main categories.
The q989 VIP tier system was introduced to recognise and reward consistent players across all products. Raast payment support was also added at this stage, extending accessible banking options.
Regular updates to the game library, sports coverage, payment flows and account security features. Feedback from Pakistani players continues to directly shape what gets prioritised on the platform roadmap.
Our Principles
q989 includes deposit limit tools, session reminders and self-exclusion options as standard features — not as hidden settings. We actively encourage players to set their own limits before each session. Gaming should be enjoyable; these tools help keep it that way. The responsible gaming section on q989 covers everything in plain terms.
Every feature on q989 starts with what makes it better for Pakistani players — not what is easiest to build or most generic.
We explain RTP, how RNG works, what odds represent and how betting markets are priced. No mystification, no false promises.
The platform is updated regularly based on what players actually use, what they find frustrating and what they want added next.
Account security features are accessible and understandable. 2FA, session management and identity-matched payouts work in plain terms.
